This isn’t the Benton Park Cafe it used to be with the new ownership post COVID. Make sure you block a few hours on your calendar because service is slow slow slow. We’ve been here multiple times since they reopened and it always takes a while to get service even to the point some customers leave. Would be a great place in Europe where life runs a little slower, but not here. Recently you hardly see the owner (she has other business ventures she is focusing on according to employees) and if you go in the morning right after opening, staff will make you feel unwelcome. On the plus side, the food is still great as it was pre-COVID.
I was pleasantly surprised by how great Benton Park Cafe turned out to be under its new ownership. I had my doubts, but I was wrong! The food remains exceptional, the coffee is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. My husband and I especially enjoy sharing their classic breakfast pizza—it's absolutely delicious!
I kept hearing about this one, so expected it to be good but kept my expectations within reach. THIS PLACE BLEW ME AWAY !!! Everyone was exceptionally polite and helpful, and the food was incredible!! Pancakes with strawberry, jalapeño jam AND the walnut cream cheese stole the show though! Can’t wait to go back!!
Highly recommended..it was our first visit and it didn't disappoint! Had the special of pumpkin French toast! Amazing! Our child loved her pancakes! We will be coming back on our future visits to stl! Oh and the dirty chi was great too! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I've been here many times, and the food is consistently exceptional. The service is always top-notch as well! It's one of my favorite breakfast places in St. Louis.
The Monte Cristo Sandwich was delicious and featured a generous portion. I will definitely order it again next time. The French Toast is also an excellent choice!
This is a nice neighborhood cafe. The food is good and the servers are attentive. Plus, the cobb salads are huge!
