Two people Wandering around Molins De Rei in the evening looking for a small bar serving tapas, we came upon Bar Beretxu and, having read some positive reviews, decided to give it a go. We were warmly greeted by Oriol, the chef/owner, who explained that tapas was the only food offered at the bar and then guided us through the extensive menu. We shared chicken croquettes (shredded chicken and mashed potatoes rolled in breadcrumbs and deep fried and prawns and garlic cooked in hot oil, which was delicious when mopped up with slices of thick cut bread. Hace unos días le recomendé este lugar a un amigo por que era genial, una referencia en Molins, pero hacía ya un tiempo que no iba. Me dijo mi amigo que no le gustó nada (y que se la apunta para devolvermela, jeje) y eso me extrañó, así que fuí hace una semana otra vez. En efecto, no es ni la sombra de lo que fué. Ya me sorprendió que un viernes noche sólo hubieran 3 mesas, cuando antes tenías que hacer cola en la calle. Total, nos pedimos unas croquetas, básicas de sabor y con de apariencia lamentable por la que no puedes cobrarlas por unidad. Las bravas de lo más vulgar, nos las dejamos casi todas. Externally this place looks like a small bar and in fact the bar area at the front is very poular with locals. Through the bar area there is a dining area with a few tables. Although smallish in size the restuarant has an excellent choice of tapas and main dishes. We chose the lunch time fixed menu which was excellent value for money. Despite being busy the service was friendly and efficient. If you are looking for somewhere to eat local food with local people this is perfect.
He comido aquí por recomendación de una amiga y... ¡Un acierto! Menú de 13€, dos platos y postre o café. La ensalada de queso de cabra, el arroz de verduras y los canelones fritos, muy buenos. Repetiremos, seguro seguro! A ambiente he dado 3 estrellas porque hacía frío dentro, los pies se nos han quedado congelados. Pero en general, recomendable!!!

Buen sitio para comer un muy buen menú diario con buena calidad y cantidad y también precio. Pedimos un revuelto de huevo con patatas y sobrasada muy rico, escamarlanes realmente buenos y mucja cantidad y de segundo un arroz de setas y butifarra para tres muy generoso y con bastante sabor.
