one of the most beautiful destinations in Saalfelden. Wonderful hiking destination with a magnificent view of the wide tai pool of saalfelden with a view of the surrounding mountains of the stone sea, the leoganger stone mountains up to the rock formations of the high king. easy to walk or with the double chairlift, direct access (in summer) with the pkw possible. from the nearby mountain station of the sessellift leads an interesting summer toboggan run into the valley. hauptattraction of the gasthof is however the very good kitchen, in which local dishes are lovingly prepared by the wet personally. the offered food tastes on the beautiful view terrace, with magnificent view of the far, jus...
We stopped to eat and drink here half-way down while we were sledding down the Biberg hill for our Valentine's day date (by night.) We had a really unique experience sitting in this wonderful rustic surrounding eating traditional pork ribs with sauerkraut, baked potatoes and bread dumplings with lots and lots of beer. The staff is very friendly and polite and I would recommend for everyone who comes to Saalfelden to try this experience while sledding in the winter time or just hiking during summer.
as always very friendly and attentive service staff. chefin is in the service itself and overlooks everything and is very friendly and a profi through and through. for larger rounds and if the time allowed, the chef also comes out of the kitchen to find out if everything was okay.The restaurant offers a fantastic view over the saalfeldner and the impressive mountain world of the stone sea. perfect excursion destination for the whole family and of course also for solemnities.
Der Veranstaltungsort selbst und die Aussicht sind großartig. Schade ist, dass das Personal nicht sehr freundlich ist (was eine Untertreibung ist). Bei unseren nächsten Besuchen in Huggenberg machten wir einen kurzen Spaziergang zur Forsthofalm, wo die Besitzerin (Hilda) sehr nett ist. Wir haben mit einer Gruppe von 25 Personen zu Abend gegessen. Sehr guter Glühwein auf der Terrasse mit Blick hinunter nach Saalfelden im Tal. Schön dekorierter Innenraum. Toller und schneller Service. Sehr gutes Essen. Probieren Sie die „Ripperlen“ und den Apfelstrudel mit Vanillesoße.
