Up on the mountain at Gstaad, has the best views and the best food I've tasted so far in switzerland. They have amazing Lentil soup and Hummus. It was very warm and cozy, the place. The atmosphere was pleasant and calm and has a soothing effect. It is slightly on the expensive side but the food was delicious and we kept ordering more and more. The staff were very sensible and too kind and helpful. We couldn't stay long because we were in a hurry but out experience was very good. I would strongly recommend this to people who visit Gstaad.
We were in the lounge. Food was very good. The service was actually very friendly, even without any knowledge of German. The service was very disorganized, long waiting times until the orders were taken, even though there were few guests present, the wrong drink was served twice and when we paid we were first handed the payment terminal without an invoice, and the wrong amount was immediately there (difference 9 francs). It's a shame for such a beautiful ambience and place.
We had very kind people serving us! A great experience unlike the stuck up place below the restaurant! The manager there was extremely rude to a lot of the guests! (This is nothing new unfortunaly,last summer we were there and did not even get served Do yourself a favor and go to Bergrestaurant Eggli instead; keep up the good vibes please:
The service was pretty poor. Way too busy for the amount of staff. Not very flexible staff either. Take it or leave it attitude. Food was terrible. Everyone felt sick. One person even had food poisoning.
