We will not be returning to this place due to the rudeness of the person seating us (we think he is the owner). Unfortunately the restaurant does not take reservations, which makes it extremely difficult to get a table for a larger party. The entire...party needs to be there, before they will seat you, which makes somewhat sense. Unfortunately, the person seating guests was not consistent in applying that rule, favouring some guests and not others. Although the food was good and the serving personnel friendly, we will not return to this place to avoid the rudeness by the owner! There are definitely better alternatives on the mountain or in the village, and they let you make reservations!
Wir haben dieses Restaurant zweimal zum Mittagessen besucht und hatten eindeutig das Gefühl, dass es das beste Ski-Mittagessen in Saas Fee ist. Weiter oben gibt es Spielboden, aber der Service ist durchschnittlich und die Preise astronomisch. GletcherGrotte hingegen ist das einzig Wahre. Tolle Atmosphäre und leckeres Essen ... zu vernünftigen Preisen. Der Service ist gut und man hat das echte Bergambiente. Wir empfehlen die Rösti mit Käse.
Eines unserer liebsten Bergrestaurants im Sommer wie im Winter. Im Sommer ist es ein großartiger Ort, um einen Spaziergang zu machen und etwas zu trinken oder sogar zu Mittag zu essen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und schmeckt frisch. Im Winter ist es eine sehr stimmungsvolle Hütte...mit sonniger Terrasse an schönen Tagen oder einem gemütlichen Innenraum mit Feuer, wenn es trübe ist. Ein Besuch hier macht immer Spaß.

very good, plentiful and tasty eating. great location. very busy, worth a waiting time and if you have a table, the staff are helpful, efficient and very friendly. our third trip to saas fee, which should go from day 1 first trip, always lacks the twist....See to the year to get the idea into the restaurant, wish we had made more effort on our previous trips than we lacked a jewel. thanks to the whole team.
You stopped there during a hike.Very nice terrasse.Very expensive prices (27-. for a burger with no drink no fries?!)My girlfriend took a roesti and liked it (she takes roesti regularly).I had a salad with chicken and vegetables: chicken was undercooked BUT was recooked with no complain and very quickly, and there was too much yellow
Ski here lots and this is tne BEST place to enjoy the BEST rosti in the whole of Saas Fee. We have tried them in most of the restaurants over the years. Summer or winter the standard is consistently good.
Small inside but a great terrace outside to enjoy the food, the views and hopefully the sunshine. Very good chicken pita salad and good cakes prepared daily.
