We went to this restaurant this February because of the - admittedly - great location. We ordered four portions of french fries with four bottled waters and we were quite shocked when the bill came up to almost 75 Swiss Francs. This is even for Swiss standards totally over the top.I can't comment on the quality of the food, as there is not much you can do wrong with french fries, but we will certainly avoid this restaurant on any future trip to Saas-Fee.
Great stopping point for lunch or a drink in the sun. Wide food selection from salads to soups to hearty mountain food.Big downside was the cost, outrageous even for a ski resort. £10 for a plate of chips, £18 for a bratwurst and chips. Had lunch with a guy from Geneva one day and he said even the Swiss are disgusted by the prices. We ended up having a soup and a packed lunch from the hotel most daysOn the positive side, beer was reasonable
Das ist ein wunderbares Restaurant! Wir leben hier in Saas Fee und gehen oft zum Mittagessen ins Nia. Das Salat- und Meeresfrüchtebuffet ist ausgezeichnet und die Creme-Schinitte ist Gourmet! Kurt und sein gesamtes Personal sind sehr freundlich und professionell, hervorragend ... Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für erstklassiges Essen!
I Really enjoyed having lunch at morenia especially when we could sit outside in the sun and people watch. You could have german,italian asian style and good old burger and chips. nia ist ein guter Treffpunkt auf dem Berg und serviert eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Es hat mir Spaß gemacht, dem Pizzabäcker beim Werfen und Drehen der Böden zuzusehen! Vermeiden Sie am besten die Zeit zwischen 12:30 und 13:30 Uhr, da dort sehr viel los ist.
Comprehensive food menu, spacious, welcomes smokers with a smoking room by the bar, good wifi and great staff. Brilliant in a sunny day, good shelter in a snow storm. :) Must do station from Allalin (3,500M) or Felskinn (3,000M) on the way down.
a huge selection of different dressed and a large fresh salat buffet that leaves no wish open. the personal is very friendly and accommodating. for us there is no better alternative and we will be happy to come back in the next winter season!
