This is hands down the best German food I have ever had in the United States. I have visited numerous German restaurants, hoping to find the same flavors I remember from my time in Germany while serving in the Army. This place is absolutely incredible, with authentic and delicious dishes. The schnitzel and potato salad are absolutely addictive. Even my picky 9-year-old enjoyed her Reuben sandwich. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend giving this place a try - the food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.
Food was delicious and our server was patient with us with all of our questions about a cuisine we're unfamiliar with.I got the Jaegerschnitzel with cucumber salad and fried potatoes, others in my party got the lemon schnitzel, some sort of spicy wurst, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. We were all absolutely wowed by everything.And DO NOT MISS the apple strudel. It was crazy good!
After going to Germany for Octoberfest 8 years ago, we have tried multiple German restaurants across the US to give us a taste to take us back. This was the best place we have had. The food was exactly the same and I couldn't believe it. If you are in the Ashville area and like German food and beer, stop in, it's worth it.

This restaurant is on the expensive side, like most places in and around Asheville these days. The service was average, the meal was for lunch, and it cost $20-30 per person. The food and service were rated a 3 out of 5, while the atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5.
