I had a great experience here at lunch on Friday. The atmosphere at Sagebrush Cantina is really cool. It almost feels like it's an old station, with the big model train right at the entrance. It seemed to run traces for a model train through the restaurant, but it didn't run. The menu is a fairly large Mexican concentrated menu, with some American options as well. I ordered the cheeses of Enchiladas, which were a bit underwhelming this time.
It's rather slow to serve me. There were a few people in the bar. The inner kitchen began to fill at 8 p.m. I'm here at 6:00. It took forever someone to take my order. Large venue. It seemed to be a place where families met. Large covered terrace and partly covered terrace on another side. Place for live music also American Mexican Food. I was an off-town visitor at Anza A Hotel. Eating was decent.
Great ambiance very friendly staff, plenty to do and see while eating. Food is....okay drinks are really the high point. Not a bad place if you want to kick back. Not the best meal in town but hey, still a good time.
This place is so old that it is incredible! The food is okay people watching is spectacular the band we saw on Sunday was phenomenal. If you want to get away on Sunday afternoon, this is the place to do it.
