This hotel is set in the middle of a large golf course in a beautiful, scenic setting. The service was excellent and welcoming. We were offered a ground floor room outside of the hotel as they knew we had a dog with us. However, we decided to stay in the main building and had a very large room with a superb view. Dinner was served out by the pond and was an extremely pleasant meal. Breakfast in the morning was great although we did comment that we were glad we got down to breakfast before the 60+ people who came off a coach to be fed which caused quite a queue. For £55.00 per night for a room (dinner and breakfast are extra), we felt it was extremely good value for money.
The restaurant is set in an old mansion, right in the middle of a golf course. It is a beautiful setting, as is the dining room. The food is well presented, though the menu could include a wider variety of dishes. But the service, when we dined there, was terrible. We were there with our kids, and their meal took 90 minuts to be served. Unforgivable, especially when the restaurant was not full and pleny of waiters were around. I'd give it a 4 star if it weren't for this.
We have just had a fantastic dinner, the menu is a small choice of very well prepared dishes, each course has a suggestion from the market, I had the starter and main course form the market, the wine was well priced and very palatable the waiting staff are all very friendly and happy to help me with my poor French language skills. Aussi le chien est bienvenue
We stayed at the hotel and were not particularly impressed (see separate review) but had a very nice meal in the restaurant! The chef's ethos, simple menu, fresh and seasonal really came through and was enjoyed. We certainly appreciated this.
A nice card, a good sign! the kitchen turns right to very good navigation between a level of brewery and gastro. The service is very good. the only reproach would be the price: the amount requested seemed disproportionate.
the manor with a very appreciable charm, and the staff is very professional, at the efficiency restaurant combines with professionalism and delicacy bravo to the whole team of the restaurant
A very welcoming visit. Good food, friendly host, super setting. The family room split over the 2 levels levels was spacious. The pool and gym areas were clean and secure. Very good.
