Two of the four of us didn't realize the amazingness of Betty's Fish and Chips. We had two Betty's newbies with us. We went with friends for a lovely Sunday lunch. What a treat. Two of us shared the captains plate with cole slaw the other two ordered the two piece fish and chips. We ordered onion rings and bowls of clam chowder for the table. The Icelandic Cod was perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The chips were crisp, tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. The clam chowder was a borderline religious experience. I grew up going to Betty’s but hadn’t been since I was like 15 … was doing errands in Rincon Valley today and decided to pick up lunch at a childhood fav spot. Boy, it did not disappoint! The best fish chips you can get, the fish was delicious and fresh and was fried to perfection, and don’t get me started on their tartar sauce! An amazing place to grab some seafood but their fish chips are obviously a must-have. I’ll be going out of my way more often now to get a taste of their menu, their yummy pies, and their classically warm mom-and-pop customer service.
First the service was great i love how they talk specially the man in the cashier he was friendly i wait like 10 minutes then the food come out they give me it i was so exited to try it. Specially there's a lot of people who tell me to try it I try it it was crazy i love it !! The sauce with it was delicious I try the fish n chips 3 pieces I didn't take photo from confused Thank for that great food
The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious, paired with perfectly crispy fries and creamy ranch dressing. I was truly impressed! The clam chowder was also excellent. I especially appreciated the attentive service and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant.
The fish and chips were alright, although the fish could have been crispier. As for the award-winning pie, it didn't meet expectations; I ended up eating half and throwing the rest of the apple pie away.
I ordered the fish tacos and the clam chowder, and they were absolutely amazing! The tacos were generously topped, and the chowder was perfect. I will definitely be back!
The clams were delicious, and the fish and chips were excellent. It's a fantastic place to dine!
