A group of eight of us had the fortune of getting a table in the basement, which was just perfect. Our waiter was both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend trying one of the tater dead poutines; we ordered three of them and they were all fantastic. Everyone at our table chose something different and was very pleased with their selection. Some of my friends mentioned they wanted to return to sample more of the menu. I feel the same way!
I was very disappointed with the service we received. The server spilled water all over my lap and down my leg. After that, she really didn't come back to check on us or to refill our coffee. I signal for the manager to come over and help her. Why should she care. When the gratuity is already included in the bill. I will not ever sit in her section again. Service: Dine in
We ate brunch outdoors. My Mother, who is a critic of all restaurants said that the breakfast sandwich with James Beard hash browns was perhaps the best breakfast she had ever had at a restaurant...high praise, indeed. The restaurant was quite busy, but I was seated right away and quickly placed my order. I remember being impressed by how fast the service was and thinking it seemed like a great lunch spot. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant enough. There was too much oil over the cooked vegetables on the dish and the flavors did not particularly wow given the price point. "The food here is always good. Service was excellent too. You will have to plan in advanced of you like to eat here because the wait to get a table can take an hour or two but the wait for the bar is normally shorter like less than 30 minutes depending on your luck."
