However, we had to ask several times for basic requests, such as creamer on the side for the coffee and a to-go box. The food itself was decent; I really enjoyed the shrimp and the way the wings were cooked, although I wasn't a fan of the sauce. That said, I did appreciate the generous portion of wings for the price. What really soured the experience for me was discovering that they only accepted card payments, with no cash option available. Typically, this wouldn't be an issue since I rarely use cash, but on this particular morning, our cards were tied up, and we only had cash on hand. Today, I tried Beyu Caffe for the first time, and it did not disappoint! The French Toast Platter was delightful and came with a generous portion of bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheese. Every positive review about this restaurant is truly deserved. Beyu Caffe is undoubtedly one of the best spots in Durham for a hearty breakfast. I highly recommend it!
That was truly amazing and just as good as ever. The Shrimp Grits had an outstanding flavor, and the Supreme Breakfast Burrito was just as impressive. The burrito contains a sweet sauce that isn’t overly sweet, but if you prefer a more savory taste, you can add hot sauce for a nice sweet heat.
This restaurant always delivers a great experience. The shrimp and grits were exceptional, and the meat omelette was cooked to perfection. The French toast was a bit dry, but still flavorful. The shrimp grits were delicious! So were the dry rub chicken wings french toast! I gave 4stars because I didn apos;t receive the Mint2BU espresso! Such a bummer as I was looking forward to trying it!
I tried the Shrimp and Grits once and afterwards I continued to order every day after that ! SOOO GOOD! I tried the French Toast and its alright; I cant wait to try the wings!
UPDATE (YEARS LATER): I tried the fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and Carver's coffee this time, and everything was a perfect 10/10!
