We've been to Bibis often over the years. Our most recent visit was really disappointing. We arrived a little early, probably 8 mins or so and we're told they weren't ready for us (the restaurant was half full) and directed to wait outside in the cold. The table we sat at had a view right into the kitchen. The chefs spoke loudly the whole time we were there including a discussion about a bleeding wound that required stitches! Not what you want to hear while eating your meal. Our drinks were warm and the margaritas are not what they used to be. Used to absolutely love this place. Not any more. Food was terrible. Chef looked filthy. I don’t know if it’s new owners or what but everything that was great about this place has sadly gone, from the nice vibes, friendly service, food which felt quite authentically Mexican. Now just replaced with food that’s on a par with Mexican microwave meals you would get from the supermarket. This is the second time we’ve had this experience here. The first time we decided just to write it off as a bad day, since we used to love it so much, but second time was worse than the first. Sad demise.
Good food and drinks, although slightly spoiled by the older waitress loudly asking another member of staff to count the cash we paid for the bill. Then proceeded to ask in an even louder tone if we'd like our 5p change back, despite the fact the bill already had a service charge added on. What is it you're looking for, a tip on top of tip?
Had a meal with business colleagues mid week. Friendly and quick service by waiting staff. First time I've had Mexican, really nice food. Chicken fajitas with Cajun chips, hot and spicy but very tasty. Small restaurant but lovely people and food.

Atmosphere and service are incredible at Bibi’s. Really lovely place. Unfortunately the food was not quite as good as expected from all the hype we’d heard. It was good, but not brilliant and more tex-mex and less authentic. Still tasted great.
This is our favorite restaurant in Glasgow and hands down the best Mexican restaurant in town. You won't be disappointed. It's a cozy, intimate setting with a welcoming staff.
I have visited this restaurant twice and the food is fantastic. It is much better than chain restaurants. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be returning.
Was at Bibis tonight for the first time, the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return very soon.
