Food was crazy good. The gyros were great,, the meat wasn't dry, everything was chock full of flavorful goodness. The rice was savory as could be and the sauces, as new to me as they are, were very unique to Mediterranean cuisine (they were tasty too lol). BUT, the Atmosphere is meh, and the inside needs some better decor to add a coziness feeling it is lacking. And finally, the service was pretty good. I wish I wasn't eyeballs by the chefs through the the kitchen tho haha
I absolutely adore the cake balls at this restaurant. They are irresistible. During my visit, they also had a chef's special featuring shrimp, chicken, and beef kabobs which were delicious. The portion size was generous, leaving me with leftovers for lunch the following day. This restaurant is a small family-owned business and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Ordered the beef kebab and I wish I knew I could have had it cooked to my preference. The beef medallion was well done so it came out a bit dry and chewy. Seasoning however was perfect. That's probably the only dish that should Coke out medium rare o definitely want to come back and try the gyro as it looks authentic and fresh. Place is very clean and the aroma from the kitchen will make you curious. Can't wait to come back
The restaurant had a large display menu, but they did not honor the prices listed, claiming that they had changed. This was very disappointing as they refused to honor the prices displayed on the digital screen above the register. Despite this, I went ahead and ordered anyway. The food took almost 30 minutes to come out, but the lamb was delicious. However, the saffron rice did not taste like it actually had saffron in it.
I had a peculiar experience at this restaurant. The kebabs and baklava were delicious, but we were served a very old and frozen tiramisu cake at the end. The cake was extremely hard, making it difficult to even cut with a knife. To make matters worse, they charged us $5 for the cake. The overpowering aftertaste of the cake ruined the flavor of our entire evening meal.
The food is delicious but the wait times are kind of long. If you come here, be sure to leave about an hour to an hour and a half of time.I also need to add, the reason the wait times are kind of long is because they're literally preparing your food fresh. When it came to flavor, everything was there and everything was fresh. Definitely coming back here again soon!
Five stars for me because I am happy to see a Persian restaurant in the middle of Deer Park! I've only been here once but was satisfied with my visit. The restaurant is small and simple and offers many of the Persian classic meals.
I ordered samosa, lamb shank stew and lamb kabobs for my father. he enjoyed eating, but could not eat the one-pot because he was excessively oily. I would order again, but with another one-pot/soup.
We stayed in the near by Hilton and got shanks from Bibi's. The lamb shanks were so good. Loved it.I wish they would share this recipe. Do you deliver to Austin ?? ha ha
