Exceptional food, attentive service, and a wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant is both intimate and elegant, striking a perfect balance without being overly formal or pretentious. It was a true pleasure to speak with Chef Calmels after our meal. The tasting menu was meticulously crafted, with the flavors in each course beautifully complementing those of the previous ones. The kitchen's execution was remarkable. While I haven't dined at every restaurant in Philadelphia, this could very well be the best one we've experienced.
This was our first visit to Bibou and we will be back. The food is very inventive and beautifully presented. Except for the pork chop that was a bit dry, the food was delicious. The portions are small but by the time we left, we were more than full. The key lime soufflé was particularly great as the last course. We were there just under 3 hours (the late seating) and never felt rushed. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It’s difficult to get a Saturday night reservation but worth the effort.

The food was truly delicious, with creative combinations, skillful preparation, and beautiful presentation. The service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. The BYOB option enhanced our experience, allowing us to bring high-quality wines that would have been quite expensive with restaurant prices. I'm confident we will come back again. Our favorite French restaurant in Philadelphia! Everything was fantastic! The seven-course meal was amazing. My personal favorites were the beautifully presented soup, the foie gras, and to top it off, the best white chocolate soufflé I’ve ever had!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! Chef Pierre came out at the end of dinner service and greeted each and every guest. Very friendly and personable. Each course was wonderful and delightful.
