After we ordered our bratwursts and beer, she mentioned that they usually have their own brews on tap, but unfortunately, the equipment had been down for the summer. A technician was scheduled to come in that day to fix it. Although it was disappointing that there were no house-made beers available, Kendrite's warmth and enthusiasm certainly made up for it! We enjoyed a wonderful conversation about the member mugs hanging from the ceiling, local attractions, and a spa she highly recommended that is about an hour and a half away. We make it a point to visit this place every day we're in town. The staff is excellent and the outdoor seating is quite enjoyable. They have a nice variety of beers to choose from. The bratwurst and sauerkraut are absolutely fantastic! The cheese plates are good as well. If I had one wish, it would be for a slightly larger menu. Did I mention how delicious the bratwurst is? Yum!
Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My experience was fantastic because my family sat next to locals and it felt like a small southern town where everyone knew each other. Dog friendly atmosphere with plenty of space. Entire establishment was clean. Parking: Large enough parking lot behind the brewery, did not have to circle around. Price per person: $20–30
The food menu may be limited, but the quality is exceptional. The brats are consistently delicious; we often make the trek across the mountain just to enjoy them.
