Big Bang Mongolian Grill

I use to enjoy coming here to eat but after today's experience has changed that. I gave 3 stares on service because I waited at the hibachi counter for almost 10min waiting to get the food cooked. While standing there wait staff an other works saw me there but did nothing. Next someone filling up the spice area came over brushed the hibachi grill down, picked up the wooden sticks used for cooking and then walked away. That person saw me but didn't acknowledge me or say he would be back. Finally I looked at a waitress and ask if the hibachi grill was open or closed. for the first time today and immediately when we came in, we were greeted. the waitress (candice) welcomed us as she knew us and took soaking orders. the selection of food for grill are ingenious, tofu to speck, bark meat, pork, skallops, crab, all kinds of tasty! as allergic to scallops, I informed the grill type. he turned around and cried the other youngs by, told them to clean a part of the grill, they had a person dedicated to my food, and he never left it alone until it was in my hands! I'm impressed! I love charlies, and I love this place! very recommended for everyone with taste pencils! great location, great atmosphere and great service!

best place to eat in the entire Evansville area, great cooks, amazing choice and variety. The one critique I have is that it can be just a little confusing for first time people who think they are going to tell the workers that they are going to use the bowl instead of just ordering. other than that the best place to go in Evansville and the surrounding cities, a longtime customer and will always return without a doubt in my mind.

was our first visit and it was amazing. the food was great, the place was clean and it was a joy to choose and watch how our food is cooked and our waitress patty was the best. Home made kimchi was just incredible! we will be back and highly recommend this place!

The food here is slamm'n! A few different things than you usually see had a Mongolian barbecue, which is good, the wait staff was okay, the cooks were bothered by our presence. It was within an hour of closing so...Food: 4/5
