This place is my life saver. I literally depend on this restaurant. I am on a restricted diet and Big City Diner is very accommodating. I typically order the fresh catch with veggies in lieu of carbs or the salmon dinner. However, other items we have enjoyed are the chicken portobello and my husband loves thier burgers. They also have have a variety of breakfast items to choose from which all are amazing. I order from here a few times a week. There are no other restraunts on the leeward side that offer the quality, service, and accommodation of service without punishing you with price gauging because of it. They are fair and care. My husband and I recently visited this restaurant for breakfast and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, there was ample parking available, and plenty of seating inside. I particularly enjoyed having coffee with our meal. Additionally, we tried the macadamia nut dish and it was delicious.
Big City in Waipio is the place to go for decent, clean tasting food! I hope they bring back the weekly specials, such as the shrimp lettuce wraps.
