Each dish was exceptional! The food quality and flavors were outstanding, and the service was top-notch. Plus, the overall atmosphere is inviting, making it a great spot for a delicious lunch.
Called to ask what was in the food! Wanted to know if the cheesesteak meat was steakumm, chipped beef aka random left over beef parts ground and pressed... or thin sirloin.... no one knew....??... regardless of answer i was going to order anyway but the idk turned me off altogether...I guess it isn't important to have that information in our community for consumers.
My daughter refuses to eat pizza anywhere else, and she has plenty of options in both Morris and Union County. I have to say, the pizza is really good! Plus, Joe's family story adds a special touch that makes picking it up worthwhile. Honestly, I could come up with 100 reasons why I could never leave New Jersey. The pizza here is truly Jersey strong!

Over the years, the quality of the food has declined. I ordered the shrimp scampi and found hair in my dish. They refused to give me a refund and insisted on taking the food back instead. I'm not sure why they wanted it returned.

I've been living in Irvington for three years and have tried other pizza shops, but Big Joe's always ends up being my go-to place. They have great pizza and the staff is friendly, especially on the phone.
