Big Momma's Soul Food

I was really surprised to find this place so tasty. We have always wanted to try it, I always pass by on my way home from work. Wife ordered the curry chicken and I ordered the ox tail, we also grabbed a couple beef patties. So delicious the curry was just the right spice and the chicken was so tender and melted in your mouth. The ox tail was marintaed to perfection, it had that fall off the bone goodness. They give you jamican coleslaw and rice holy moly it was good; it gave the meat such a nice compliment. I certainly recommend this place.

Read the reviews and I love jerk chicken The jerk was spiced right not so overpowering you burned your mouth off. Ox tail was tasty. My complaint is the same with all the Jerk places: lots of rice and one little leg and back of chicken. Charge me but don't call a leg and back a large portion . Food was as good as many other places. Would go again but not somewhere I'd drive out of the way to go to

Whenever I get the chance I always go here for a Beef Patty. Who ever the supplier is, I will say now that they are the best I have ever tasted. I usually get the Chicken Roti and a beef Patty and when I am done, I will usually get another Patty to go. Good prices, Good food and they always have a funny Jamaican soap opera on the TV, The owner is quite a character.

I visit Big Momma's for takeout and have a brew while I wait. Their Ox Tail, Jerk Chicken and Their doubles are outstanding. Never can get enough of their collards and rice too. Great food, reasonably priced, fresh and generous portion for the price! Owner Dave is friendly! Place is clean and comfortable! Even have Tv's and he orders Ufc on certain nights for those who want to chill, have a beer and some great food and watch the fight!

We ordered the jerk chicken and it came with rice and beans. It was just like you hope for, great flavours, quite spicy and fall off the bone texture. The service was very friendly and upbeat, we can't wait to go back.

we eat here regularly either at a table or often take out....great food.....not fancy on site....order at counter,grab a table and plastic cutlery and a red stripe...fresh cooked real food

I've eaten here many times since moving in the area. Great authentic fresh food. The owner knows what he is doing
