We got to Big Tom's relatively early for dinner and were seated right away. We hadn't been seated for more than a couple of minutes before a very pleasant server showed up to take our drink orders. The menu was bigger than we had expected, but not sobig as to be overwhelming. I ordered the poutine with the fried green tomato side and my husband ordered the burger. We've hadfried green tomatoes many times over the years from many different places. These were hands down the best we've ever had. Theyweren't bitter and were cooked perfectly. The batter was great and the sauce that came with them was great. I'd never hadpoutine before, but after reading several of the other reviews that mentioned...
This was my third visit to this restaurant and it finally lived up to my expectations. They had a special burger on the menu called the Smash Burger, which is now one of my top 5 favorite burgers of all time. I was truly impressed. It was priced at $15, which is average, but definitely worth it. The side of fried okra was generous and delicious. The service was decent, the server seemed to be new and still learning. Overall, we will definitely be returning again in the future.
I had heard that this restaurant had undergone a dramatic transformation a few years ago, so I decided to try it out for the first time. I ordered the Philly sandwich with spicy potato salad. The sandwich was hot and delicious, filled with meat, peppers, onions, and just the perfect amount of Dukes mayo. The potato salad had a nice kick to it with red pepper and jalapeño. Logan provided excellent service. I will definitely be returning and recommend that you do too!
I have to say that Cleveland has one Awesome place to eat and visit!!! I ate there today and had the best food I have had anywhere in the Great State of TENNESSEE! By all means give it a try and you will not be disappointed. The food is great and the service is awesome. I will be going back soon. Big Tom gave us special service. He ate with us and even brought out a sample of his tasty smoked, fried bologna. Food was great and drinks were strong and cold! This place is packed for a reason. If you like a broad menu, good food with a casual atmosphere, this place is it. Happy for you Tommy!
We dined at this restaurant on Sunday and tried the special, which was the meatloaf, and it was fantastic! All of our dishes were delicious and the service was excellent as well. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning!
This restaurant is a hidden gem off the main road. The wait staff is outstanding and you might even be lucky enough to hear Big Tom singing a Johnny Cash song with the live entertainment. The food is amazing and the portions are generous.
