I fell in love with Mom Pop Diners many years ago. My father and I fish in every way out of the way lakes and rivers and like fishermen want, we would go very early. We would always stop breakfast at the first mom pop dinner. Most were tiny, with simple but good food. Most of them were scratches. And it was always cheap. Whether Bill's is a Mom Pop, or a Greasy Spoon Diner is for the debate, yet the place is tiny, with maybe four or five stands and a very small U-shaped counter that makes for an intimate experience. Truly one of my favorite places to eat. Super friendly staff. Donna is the best and has jokes for days if you have a sense of humor. Food is great prices are affordable. It's nice to chat with the old timers around the center table.
Great place, great food! I love these small business restaurants where you meet locals and a meal like cooking at home. I'm sure I'm back!
Excellent Onion Cheeseburger, home made French Fries, and the best Coleslaw, in my opinion !
