I was so excited to eat here after reading good reviews about the chain in coeliac groups; it is still so hard to eat with the family when they have an intolerance towards gluten. the restaurant was not particularly busy when we arrived at 11:40...but immediately our server told us that they were unaffected, not my problem. our party of 4 plus a little was shown on a table and given menus; I had to ask for the gluten-free menu. our soaked order was removed and delivered in time, at which time we ordered our meal. at a visit to the bathroom I asked our server when we could expect our eating as we had waited so long (after the submission that a few other tables had come after us and had been s...
I booked Bills in Sheffield for myself and colleagues on a business trip. Ive ate at Bills in Spinningfields and always really enjoy it and Sheffield didnt disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and service was good. Prices were reasonable compared to other...restaurants and happy to pay as know the food is good an innovative! I went for the Halloumi fries to start and it was a very generous portion. I had the Truffle Chicken two ways for a main and again, the portion size was huge! I loved the innovation of how the coleslaw is served like an egg with the Chicken and Egg dish! I had to go for the Bill's flowerpot for dessert as have heard so much about it and love the concept...
We arrived early and were seated promptly at a nice and clean restaurant with friendly staff. Despite it not being very busy, we had to wait almost 25 minutes to place our order, which was frustrating. Our drinks arrived first and were finished before our food arrived (which took 35 minutes to be served). The eggs Benedict was delicious and the full English breakfast was decent, although the sausage seemed pale on the outside. The fried eggs were perfectly cooked. It was disappointing to have to wait so long, even when requesting the bill. I had my debit card ready, but the bill arrived before someone had to wait to use the card machine.
First let me say the food was nice as were the drinks! And the venue is super nice. But my lord the staff are super miserable! The (who i assume was the manager) a tall lady in a spotty black and white dress. Stood with...a face of thunder, whilst the other staff basically threw our food at us. One young lady sighed when we asked for ketchup. And not one smile out of any of them. Adding 12.5% to the bill seems outrageous seeing as they know noone will go through the effort to get this optional charge removed. than happy to pay when the service was good. But last 2 times I 've been the service has been non-existent. Cheer up guys!

Had a table booked but were running early and they accommodated us without issue. Lovely atmosphere but the length of time waiting to have our order taken put us back to our scheduled arrival time. Starters were lovely but the medium rare burger came overcooked!...We were offered a free dessert which was a nice gesture, After the slow start the service was excellent
We dropped in last minute while in Sheffield Centre on a early Sunday evening, there was plenty of spaces and really friendly staff. We were well looked after throughout our visits and the food was amazing, we both had the seafood linguine and calamari were...fantastic. Will be back!
I would like to advise the commission to avoid ordering the drink that is meant to be eaten at this restaurant. The food was extremely disappointing, despite visiting many times before, I do not plan on returning.
The ambience at this restaurant is lovely and the food is delicious, but we found it to be a bit on the pricey side. We paid £46 for a sandwich, fries, vegan curry, two soft drinks, and a dessert that we split.

Nice place for a lunch/dinner. Cosy atmosphere, nice staff and good food in reasonable price. I really liked hands sanitiser on every table and question about food allergies before placing an order.
