I was so excited to eat here after reading good reviews about the chain in coeliac groups; it is still so hard to eat with the family when they have an intolerance towards gluten. the restaurant was not particularly busy when we arrived at 11:40...but immediately our server told us that they were unaffected, not my problem. our party of 4 plus a little was shown on a table and given menus; I had to ask for the gluten-free menu. our soaked order was removed and delivered in time, at which time we ordered our meal. at a visit to the bathroom I asked our server when we could expect our eating as we had waited so long (after the submission that a few other tables had come after us and had been s...
We arrived early and were seated promptly at a nice and clean restaurant with friendly staff. Despite it not being very busy, we had to wait almost 25 minutes to place our order, which was frustrating. Our drinks arrived first and were finished before our food arrived (which took 35 minutes to be served). The eggs Benedict was delicious and the full English breakfast was decent, although the sausage seemed pale on the outside. The fried eggs were perfectly cooked. It was disappointing to have to wait so long, even when requesting the bill. I had my debit card ready, but the bill arrived before someone had to wait to use the card machine.
First let me say the food was nice as were the drinks! And the venue is super nice. But my lord the staff are super miserable! The (who i assume was the manager) a tall lady in a spotty black and white dress. Stood with...a face of thunder, whilst the other staff basically threw our food at us. One young lady sighed when we asked for ketchup. And not one smile out of any of them. Adding 12.5% to the bill seems outrageous seeing as they know noone will go through the effort to get this optional charge removed. than happy to pay when the service was good. But last 2 times I 've been the service has been non-existent. Cheer up guys!
I would like to advise the commission to avoid ordering the drink that is meant to be eaten at this restaurant. The food was extremely disappointing, despite visiting many times before, I do not plan on returning.

The ambience at this restaurant is lovely and the food is delicious, but we found it to be a bit on the pricey side. We paid £46 for a sandwich, fries, vegan curry, two soft drinks, and a dessert that we split.
Nice place for a lunch/dinner. Cosy atmosphere, nice staff and good food in reasonable price. I really liked hands sanitiser on every table and question about food allergies before placing an order.
Yesterday was pancake day, I received an email from bills about their pancake party, I had to go!!!
I phoned up for a table for 3 people at 5.45 to 6pm but
Very slow service. Brought wrong food, food Luke warm, would not recommend and expensive for what it was. Won’t be going back.
