We tried Billy G's for the first time last night a Thursday around 8pm . We didn't make reservations and were a little nervous that they would be super busy since it was the evening before Valentine's Day. We walked in the front door and weren't really sure where to go and then a waitress told us to walk toward the back to the hostess stand. If you go it's probably best to enter through the side door because it takes you right to the hostess stand. We were immediately seated after we got to the stand. My wife and I travel to many fine dining restaurants in the area and out side of the area. It is by far the very best dining experience we've had in a very very long time. The wild mushroom soup with soft pastry on top was outstanding, the giant meat ball well what could i say, it was a giant and truly amazing! For our main meal my wife had the crab cakes and I had the Twin lobster tails, her crab cakes where exactly what they were suppose to be, all crab no fillers. My lobster tails where the very best I've ever had in my life. I took my Aunt and Uncle to Billy G’s for dinner, none of us had ever been. I had a bone in Ribeye done Pittsburg med rare it was the best I ever had. I travel and eat out a lot so I can say for sure it was fantastic. My uncle had the seafood Fra Diavlo and he couldn’t stop complimenting the red sauce. My Aunt had scallop and they were a bit salty but very good. The owner came out to check in our meal and was a great guy. The dessert was also top notch. The 100 lb Parmesan cheese app could have been a main course, delicious and also had the Lava appetizer, totally unique and crazy good.
The first thing we noticed was the charming sounds of a piano. A great bar to wait for your table or have an after-dinner drink. The waiting staff was very professional and worked well together. The Maitre 'd came and checked several times on the table. And has a great sense of humor.... I won't bore you with our food selection. But the food was prepared 100 percent from this world. Great work northeastern Pennsylvania and hates away to the cook.. I have planned another reservation and you should do the same. Try Mikey to like it.

We went on Valentine 's day, which I know can be a very difficult night for a restaurant, but it really wasn 't that busy when we arrived. As we were leaving it picked up quite a bit, but I can 't use the excuse that they were overwhelmed. First, let me say that it 's not fine dining on the same scale as AV, or Angelo 's is or as the Ryah House was. As an example, the wine by the glass choices are limited to Woodbridge only. The facility is also very cold. I imagine that in summer this wouldn 't be an issue, but just so you know.
100% amazing. I’ve been there the past 2 weeks and haven’t gotten past the appetizer menu. Can’t wait to get back to try more! Staff is great (love Harry and Dave), food is amazing, atmosphere is great also. A must do.
Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and amazing food at reasonable prices! Billy G never disappoints! If you have not been here yet, you are missing out. Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back!
