What Gaia lacks in ambiance, comfort and décor it makes up for in the inventive, eclectic menu and thoughtfully, well prepared food. We were in the back area of the house and it was very cramped and noisy from the kitchen and espresso machine. The wine list was also lacking...they could use a few more choices. I had the pork belly appetizer as my entrée and it was scrumptious and plentiful. Done to perfection. One friend had the lamb chops that came with gnocchi in a light, heavenly sauce. My daughter and I always go to this place when I visit her in Denver. We love it! This visit did not disappoint. Service was personable and knowledgeable. The chef came out to greet us and make sure we loved our food. We did! My daughter had the tuna and I had the wild mushroom housemade pasta. We shared. Both were excellent! They had a great value on a South African red wine $23 and it was fantastic! As good as anything I have tasted at twice the price. I love the homey feel of this place it is actually in an old home.
We've always enjoyed a great brunch at Gaia.....this was our first experience with dining in the evening. The flank steak was perfection and the short ribs just perfect for a smaller portion. Since it was a beautiful night we sat outside and took in the sights of people strolling around the neighborhood. Good service and we enjoyed being able to have a conversation without shouting at each other. All in all , a wonderful experience. We will be sure to come back........and bring friends and family with us!!!
The chief made our expereince unbelievable. He not only made wonderful dishes, but he came out to our table to discuss with us what he had created. The duck was my favorite! We have been told about a new menu item that involves pasta and pumpkin that I cannot wait to try!

I was visiting some friends when travelling in Denver and we went here based off of good reviews they were right! The food was outstanding, we had a nice bottle of wine, and got the chance to talk to the chef for a few minutes before we left. Would recommend!
The wine was awesome. The pork chop and spare ribs were amazing. It was quiet. The only trouble was there was no dessert. Also, no steak was available. They should go to the market every day, really.
The food was excellent and I appreciated the personal touch of the chef bringing it to our table. He was very friendly and added to the overall experience. I am looking forward to returning.
We had an amazing dining experience at Gaia! The food was fantastic, with amazing combinations and flavors. We definitely plan on returning in the future!

This was my first time here, and I really enjoyed myself, especially because there was hardly anyone there.
The food was served poorly, with too much spice, and was too expensive. I won't be returning.
