Service 3 it took 20 25 mins to get my food. That's after a party of 5 that ordered after me got their food in 10 mins. Food 4 menu is fancy. But, suffers in the execution department. First, I hate when the kitchen runs out of food. They have a small menu and two of the items were unavailable. The most frustrating part is that I'm spending 10 mins to decide, then order bacon waffles and 5 mins later come to find out they are out of waffles. So, that eliminates 2 menu fishers. So, I ordered the corned beef eggs Benedict. Besides the food taking long, they messed up on my meal. There are two key things to a successful eggs Benedict. 1) hollandaise sauce 2) poached eggs. The sauce was average....

Summary (4/5): Good food for a fair price with a nice interior, but service is a tad slow. Bird cafe's interior is reminiscent of an 80's restaurant that has been modernized. There is plenty of seating both outside and inside, and its location right inside Sundance plaza is fantastic. On average, the appetizers and salads are in the 12-$15 range and the main menu can be in the mid 20's depending on what you're ordering. I was a bit disappointed by the somewhat limited selection of choices for the main course, but that isn't a big deal to me if the taste is up to par. Thankfully, the food was solid, especially my barracuda filet. The salads were also good and nothing really disappointed the p...
A colleague and I stopped here for lunch on our arrival day in Fort Worth for a week of meetings and herding cats. I see from the web site that Bird Cafe offers lunch, dinner, and brunch menus. Today we ordered from the brunch menu, which has a variety of breakfast foods and also has some lunch type items. My BLT with fried green tomatoes in the sandwich was really good. The tomatoes were cooked enough to soften them, not like places where the tomatoes are still crunchy. And the fresh cut shoestring fries were also good. My colleague ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with what we thought would be tomato soup. However, it turned out to be the soup of the day, a tomato based soup with barbec...
This restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Forth Worth and overlooks the center courtyard. Seems like a popular restaurant as many people were dining here, business meetings, friend gatherings, etc. When my boyfriend and I got seated in the outdoor patio, it initially took quite some time to get attention from a waiter. We had to flag someone down to ask if there was a waiter assigned to our area, and there seemed to have been some confusion. Eventually, a waiter helped out and gave us menus. We ordered the Pickled Deviled Eggs to start and I got the Taza Mas Cobb Salad. The eggs were delicious and served over arugula. There were three eggs total, so it was the perfect little appeti... Visited for brunch and really enjoyed this meal. I had a hum husbicus, OJ and prosecco mimosa. This drink had a great flavor, not too sweet and of course the fizz of the prosecco. The drink had a good kick and it was a nice portion for $6. The creole benedict comes with two poached eggs and I requested fried eggs because I dont do poached. There were fried green tomatoes, crawfish etoufee, spicy hollandaise all over a split biscuit. This was very filling with loads of flavor. Who has heard of spicy hollandaise? Is this only in Texas? I will have to learn how to make this! The sauce also had fresh tomatoes and yellow peppers. The server was attentive and the restaurant was welcoming with beau...
Met a friend for Sunday brunch at the Bird Cafe. Now, I've eaten at the restaurant several times in the past but never for their weekend brunch. Started off with a good cup of coffee from a French Press. Instead of a mimosa, my friend decided to begin her brunch with a concoction called an urban conqueror. It looks similar to a cosmopolitan. According to my friend it was quite delicious. I ordered the Avocado Omelet with crispy potatoes, an english muffin and bacon. My brunch partner decided to order two poached eggs with crispy potatoes, an english muffin and bacon. The food was scrumptious, delicious. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere and ambiance of the Bird C...
I suggested Bird Cafe for brunch on the recommendation from friend. I was expecting the wait to be significant considering it was Saturday at 11am, but we were surprised when our party of 5 was seated immediately. The menu isn't overwhelming (ahem Cheesecake Factory across the street! and everything on the brunch menu looked delicious. I decided on the Mother and Child Reunion, which comes with two poached eggs and a fried chicken breast. The food was excellent, my only complaint is the food portions were quite small. The fried chicken was very thin almost to the point that there was more breading than chicken. Other than the small portion sizes, the food was delicious and plated well. The t...
Took the train from Grapevine Station and walked the quick walk from the ITC stop to Bird Cafe. It was lunch time and pretty full. I loved the decor! like stepping back in time! The menu had several sandwiches/salads and a few other entrees. They offer one soup daily. The average price is 12-15 I got the Cobb salad and it was VERY good. It came with a red wine vinigarette dressing that didn't sound good at first but boy was I wrong!!Lets just say garlic, creamy and yummy. It was a large entree and had deviled eggs, chicken and prosciutto. The entire upstairs is available for renting out and was nice with its own bar. They offer a daily HH from 4-6 (I think I got that right) In the bar and ou... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Had brunch with friends at The Bird today. the brunch menu is ample, with lots of breakfast options, a burger option, and lots of specialty drinks. I went with the bacon waffle which was recommended by our server greatness. My wife got the shrimp etouffee eggs benedict and it was delicious. Becomes on a biscuit instead of the traditional English muffin. Also, I had never been to Sundance Square in Fort Worth oh, so it was cool to get the visit this place for the first time. Service was a bit slow, but it's Saturday and we had no place to go, so it didn't bother us. ;
