Bird Dog - Tisch reservieren

I've never been to a restaurant quite like Bird Dog. A friend and I went there for lunch. The waiter gave us a menu with three columns and suggested that we choose a couple items from each column and then split the dishes between use. This worked pretty well for the two of us. However, I prefer the more usual fixed small dishes with wine pairing approach where the chef selects the courses and the wine sommelier selects which wine goes best with each course. Great setting, great food. Service was good, but servers were too keen at times. Music was good, but could be more atmospheric. It was very kind of the restaurant to treat us a dessert for the birthday occasion! We paid $85/person (including 15% tip) for a starter, a main, a side and a glass of wine portions are small so all three are needed. Overall, highly recommended for a special night out or a date. So far, Bird Dog and Evvia are the two best restaurants I have tried in the Palo Alto area.

Enjoyed our dinner at Bird Dog. The dishes we ordered were unusual, original and very tasty. It is nice to have a restaurant with food that is different from what you typically get elsewhere.

food looks good, but does not taste good. waiters are friendly. much less expensive than the 1-star, only complain is the food. I bet the price includes high real estate in Palo Alto.

Really great bar, bar tenders, and nicely upbeat atmosphere and staff. Food was great, as well.
