The restaurant has a great, welcoming atmosphere with a lovely beer garden in the back. Although I didn't try the food, I still had a positive experience and would recommend stopping by. Dropped in while on a walk and was greeted by a friendly labrador (always a good start). Friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar too, nice pint of Harvey’s, sport on the TV. Seems like a proper local boozer with all its regulars but welcoming to all.
