This bakery and pâtisserie shop is the best outside of France, no question about it. I discovered it 11 years ago and have been coming here 2-3 times per year, despite living 15 hours away. They have recently upgraded their premises with a clean restroom and a sit-down area where you can enjoy your treats during the colder months. They have always had an outdoor patio with a fantastic view of the St. Lawrence River. Their croissants are flaky, buttery, and have too many layers to count. Personne ne fait le pain aussi bon qu'à la Boulangerie Bis...hummmm! J'habite Saguenay, mais je passe souvent à Rivière-du-Loup, pour le travail de mon conjoint. Nous ne manquons jamais une occasion de passer chercher notre paina, à. Ette fameuse boulangerie. Vous pouvez manger là. Ils font de superbes pâtisseries et de très bons lattés. Nous repartons avec un pain pour le Saguenay!!!
Great cappuccinos and delicious cakes and pastries. You feel you are in Paris. Lots of other baked goods like breads, cookies, muffins, etc. The place is scrupulously clean. There is a nice outdoor seating area. The young lady that served us was friendly, pleasant and spoke English which was helpful as our French language skills are limited.
I highly recommend this charming spot for its delicious pain au chocolat and croissants! With a cozy patio and indoor seating, along with a pristine bathroom, it's the ideal place for a quick breakfast before heading out.

We went in there and got few deserts with cheese bread which tasted amazing! Fresh bread, coffee, deserts... OMG just what was needed place is by far best I tasted in while in North America

The restaurant has a great variety of delicious cakes and opens early in the morning for breakfast service.
Great stop for fresh pastries; the pain au chocolat and the marscapone aux bleuets were especially good.
