The food was great, always is. My girlfriend and I have been going on dates to Bishop 's since the beginning of our relationship and have loved the old-fashioned feeling of the diner. We went this morning after going to the gym, enjoyed our meal, which came out at a decent time, but as we were paying for the meal the guy who claimed to have cooked our food specifically asked if we wanted to leave a tip(they always do because it 's on their card machine) to which I said not today . I dined at Bishop’s for breakfast and had an exceptional experience that I couldn't wait to share. Our server, Carson, truly made the experience memorable. He was attentive without being intrusive, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. His friendly demeanor added to the overall positive vibe of the restaurant. The food was simply outstanding! I was greeted and seated right away. My order was taken very soon. I ordered the big breakfast, I received it quickly, I requested milk my order, to my amazement and for the first time in any restaurant she stated I 'll put a glass in the freezer for you that impressed me. My order came, it was very large and prepared to perfection. I did not have to ask for my milk a second time, she knew. All this happened in spite of the fact they were very busy. I was at the register on Friday. I saw the older lady server with long hair scratch her head where they pick up the food and then immediately grab like 5 plates and serve them. Seconds later I heard someone who could've been the manager but it was a man who told a server to charge for extras when they know they're not gonna get a tip. Why would he say that in front of customers at the counter for all of us to hear. We all looked at each other. Believe me I'm spreading the word to friends, family and coworkers. Bishop’s Grill is the perfect place for a great breakfast at a reasonable price! The portions are huge, so come hungry, and their cinnamon rolls are a must-try. Hands down, my favorite place to eat in the greater St George area. Best quality food at an unbelievable value. Staff is friendly, place is always clean, and again, the food: it's amazing. Their burgers are top notch, their original jam is to die for, and their fries. Their fries are the literal best i have ever had in my life. I cannot recommend Bishop's Grill enough. I love it! No one should be asked by someone in a “barking” manner for a tip on a to go. If someone wants to tip they can themselves freely. Sausage was worse than frozen patties. McDonald’s has better breakfast. Probably a good place for seniors I can see the appeal but I won’t ever come back.
