Got lucky and got in on a Thursday evening. It is in a heritage house owned back when by the Viger family.It is a two room dining area nicely decorated and furnished. We were told to get a reservation for two on Friday or Saturday would take a few months groups even longer. Let me say it is worth the wait.Thet have a table d' hote or a la carte we went for the table.The several choices. It includes soup or salad main course and dessert. we started with an entre of crab cakes and snails wrapped in filo.Both were fantastic the crab came with 2 jumbo shrimp and the snails were abundant and delish. for the main I had pan seared cood veggies and my companion had the veal chop..I have to say this...
An absolutely gem of a restaurant. The food was amazing and service exceptional. I had the table d'hote which consisted of the house salad, halibut main and dessert. The halibut was perfectly cooked. For dessert I had the lemon poppy seed almond flour cake with Blueberry coulis. Omg this was just so decadent and not overly sweet. My husband had the sweet potato soup and the salmon. He also enjoyed his meal very much. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. My husband loves history so got into talking about the history of the building the restaurant is housed in and our server, being ever so friendly, took the time to chat with us about the house. I visited this French cuisine restaurant for the third time tonight, and I was just as impressed as I was the first two times! The food is so delicious and just melts in your mouth. I highly recommend trying their handmade desserts crafted by the chef. Every experience here has been wonderful, and the service is impeccable. I give it a 5-star rating without a doubt! One tip for anyone planning to visit: make sure to make a reservation well in advance, as this restaurant fills up quickly every night. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's a BYOB establishment!
Best experience we have ever had in a restaurant! It was well worth the 2month wait for the reservation! Cannot wait to be back! If i could put 10 stars I would. From the homemade bread to the feuilleté d'escargot, the velouté of sweet potato and ginger, to the delectable crusted rack of lamb, un mignon de veau with a reduction of brie and truffle and of course outstanding housemade lemon cheecake we were on cloud 9 rolling our eyes the entire time not believeing how incredible every bite treated our palates! This restaurant is housed in a beautiful converted old home with elegant, old-fashioned chairs. The comfort foods served here are delicious, with a special touch provided by using fresh ingredients and house-made sauces, salad dressings, and desserts. The creme brulee I tried was exceptional and made on-site. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was absolutely delicious. Another great feature is that you can bring your own wine. How fantastic is that?
It's very hard to get a reservation, but we finally succeeded in getting one. The menu is small, but there's something for everyone.I ordered the chicken. The sauce totally makes this dish. I actually used the delicious bread to soak up the rest of it -- something I never, ever do.Everybody loved their meals and the service was excellent.The place is beautifully decorated, right down to the bathroom area. Worth the trip!
Love this small byow bistro. It was our first time here after hearing so many great things, and they did not disappoint. Service was prompt and amazing and the dishes were not only beautiful, they were delicious. We already made 4 more reservations and look forward to coming back!

Had a delicious house salad and fantastic Salmon plate, and the most mazing flourless chocolate cake with peanut butter ice cream!!! Cozy restaurant, great comfy chairs. Wonderful experience!
