Got lucky and got in on a Thursday evening. It is in a heritage house owned back when by the Viger family.It is a two room dining area nicely decorated and furnished. We were told to get a reservation for two on Friday or Saturday would take a few months groups even longer. Let me say it is worth the wait.Thet have a table d' hote or a la carte we went for the table.The several choices. It includes soup or salad main course and dessert. we started with an entre of crab cakes and snails wrapped in filo.Both were fantastic the crab came with 2 jumbo shrimp and the snails were abundant and delish. for the main I had pan seared cood veggies and my companion had the veal chop..I have to say this...
Dined with friends who love this place. However we were disappointed. You arrive to wait in a vestibule to be seated. The place is very nice but very tight. Every seat is less than arms length to the next. Lovely decor and kind staff. We started with the soup which was over salted to a point we got bloated. Caesar salad was delicious however at the price level you would expect anchovies on it. My wife had the steak which was drenched with sauce and the cut had too much fat. At 42$ you expect a better piece of meat. The venison was delicious. Deserts were good not great. The 1 scoop of ice cream was the best. Bill came out short of 400$. At that price for a BYOB you think bottled water would...

Le seul reproche est de ne pas avoir de site Internet afin d'afficher le menu de la table d'hôte car c'est un "apporter votre vin", ça serait pratique d'avoir une idée pour choisir son vin.Il s'agit d'une ancienne maison privée ancestrale transformée. Un seul service et le nombre de convives est limité et c'est très bien ainsi afin de pouvoir apprécier la qualité de notre repas sans se faire bousculer.Il faut s'y prendre à plusieurs mois d'avance pour avoir une table mais ça vaut plus que la peine
i went with the table le do and everything was delicious from the fish that i had and the steak my wife had , the sauces the meals came in were Fantastic . the desert i had was also Fantastic . Everything we ate from the soup to the deserts was fantastic , if you can get a reservation on the Friday or Saturday with in 3 months take it , you would be luckier to get one on the Wednesday , Thursday or Sunday , may get one within 2 -3 weeks .you have to go to enjoy the food and bring that special wine you have been keeping for the special occasion and enjoy , enjoy and enjoy Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It's very hard to get a reservation, but we finally succeeded in getting one. The menu is small, but there's something for everyone.I ordered the chicken. The sauce totally makes this dish. I actually used the delicious bread to soak up the rest of it -- something I never, ever do.Everybody loved their meals and the service was excellent.The place is beautifully decorated, right down to the bathroom area. Worth the trip!
Although the food was good (for the West Island), we expected something better since there was a 3 month wait for a table. My crab cake was "mushy" and the soup was over salted. The main course was very good, I had the halibut, and the lemon cheesecake was great. There are other restaurants that are just as good or better, with a much shorter wait. It was good, just not amazing. I think the decor needs updating as well.
Pas surprenant que les locaux réservent la meilleur tablée de 20 heures. Les propriétaires sont charmants, la nourriture excellente et l'endroit magique. Un ancien manoir en pleine ville - jamais vous le remarquerez sans connaître l'adresse. Ça vaut le détour si vous devez en faire un.
Small owned resto where owners not only cook great meals but serve you also. Takes 1 month to get reservations but we'll worth it. 5 stars in my book???? Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
we were impress when we told the waiter to put aside the sauce so that our seafood selection will not be soak in sauces.
