The Bistro is a counter-service restaurant where you place your order and pick it up yourself. There are tables near the counter, as well as outside in Atwater, or you can also choose to take your food to go. The food was surprisingly delicious, and the service was excellent. The burrito dishes were generous and perfect for sharing. They also have a great selection of coffee drinks - I personally enjoyed their drip coffee. Our hotel provided a credit that could be used at the Bistro, which was a nice perk. The servers were friendly and helpful, with a special shout out to Daniel.
Daniel is truly exceptional! He went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable and made us feel incredibly welcome. Not only does he work at the Bistro, but also at the island spa and Avalon Grille. His level of hospitality is unmatched, and you will have a fantastic experience being taken care of by him. We had the pleasure of visiting all three places, and Daniel truly made our time there special. If you're staying at Atwater, do yourself a favor and start your day with a coffee at the Bistro with Daniel!
Pleasantly surprised by this place although it was a little pricey. We got a breakfast burrito, a machaca burrito, and a coffee and the total was $30! The burritos weren't huge which I'm glad for because we were able to finish them. They were actually the perfect size and were filled with a pretty proportionate amount of everything. Good amounts of meat and egg and the cheese was melted and gooey.
Good coffee, way better than Starbucks. Nice tea selection. Zero gluten free options as all the sandwiches and burritos are premade garbage. My sister has a sandwich and said the eggs tasted frozen. We ate that be Bistro every morning for breakfast while we were staying in Catalina for 3 days. I had the Ham and Cheese Croissant and my wife had the egg sandwich. Both were delicious. Both Daniel and Leticia were very friendly and they both provided excellent customer service.
Stopped here on my way back from a hike and the ladies were so sweet to stay open a couple extra minutes for me since I had no idea they closed at noon! I had the quiche and it was super fresh. Excellent staff and customer service!
