4 of us went for lunch on Saturday it was busy but Dezi, our waitress was excellent. She handled it with ease. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive which we understood due to the crowd. But what happened to the food? Both the quality and the quantity were horrible. I had the fried chicken sandwich and I thought they were doing an old Wendy’s commercial with the old lady where’s the beef in my case chicken. If there was 2 ounces of chicken that was a lot. I didn’t realize you could cut chicken that thin and I think they counted the red onion slivers. And with tax and tip that’s a $19 for bread. We’ve been coming here for years and years. First time in. 6 top with the family. Saturday lunch. We got there early, which was good....place got busy. For apps, we ordered the hummus baked feta. Both were good....feta was outstanding. I had the shrimp eggplant with pasta and cream sauce. Delicious. Sister had the burger, which looked really good. Mom had the chicken salad and said it was one of the best she'd ever had. The atmosphere was clean with a lot of white tile and wood. Bar area looked inviting to sit for a while. Nice covered outside area for fall days. Drink menu was extensive. Lots of specialty drinks, wine, and serious martini selections. Overall, I really liked it.
I visited for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was excellent, and the service was outstanding. I really appreciated the vintage tiles and decor, which added a nice touch. The place was clean and pleasant. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as five stars!
We drove from Baton Rouge to check out this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Samantha, was fantastic. She was very attentive, making sure our drinks were refilled before they ran out, and most importantly, she was incredibly polite and had a smile on her face the entire time. Fantastic restaurant! I ordered the redfish and shrimp creole, and it was absolutely delicious. Their lemon drop cocktail was also outstanding. Most of our group was very satisfied with their meals, although I did hear that the French onion soup didn't quite hit the mark. I would definitely return! Just a heads up, they don’t take reservations according to the hostess.
We had a fantastic date night! We loved everything about the experience. Our server was friendly and quick with the refills. Justin ordered the tuna, and I enjoyed shrimp with orzo in a delicious crawfish cream sauce along with Brussels sprouts – it was amazing! I highly recommend this place!
The food is incredible—it's without a doubt the best pot roast I've ever had. Our group had a playful sense of humor, but the waitstaff were very friendly and graciously indulged our antics. The prices are fantastic. I truly love Bistro Byronz!
