Stop in this restaurant on the road back. Well-appointed parking. Beautiful terrace with beautiful view. The inside room saw us seemed pretty well. Very nice and smiling service even during the heat of the noon. Small pot with something to nibble while waiting for the dishes. Sandre Mousselines appreciated even if it was necessary to correct the seasoning. Sweet coffee very generous and not bad. Price a hair too high from our point of view but it does not remove anything from the very good impression left.
After unsuccessfully trying to find something to eat not far from Chambod Island, we had resigned ourselves to returning home when we crossed paths with this restaurant which welcomed us with a sincere smile. We were delighted by the simple and tasty cuisine, the wine advice from the young waiter, the breathtaking view of the valley and the contagious smile of all the staff! We are delighted to have endured the refusals of tourist restaurants to come across THE local gem.
La tablée que nous étions : deux couples est ressortie enchantée de ce repas, de l'accueil ainsi que du cadre méconnu pour deux d'entre nous. Le personnel au petits soins, même si je me suis permis, comme toujours, de chambrer. Geste professionnel de la Patronne que nous avons aussi taquinée, mais sans aucune arrière pensée. Merci à tous et continuez, nous reviendrons c'est sùr.

We had come with the former owners, with whom the kitchen and the welcome were to be desired. We were very pleasantly surprised at this recovery that significantly changes the quality of the meal: very nice reception, dishes sought and very good, beautifully renovated. A very good restaurant in Haut-Bugey!
A restaurant like we love them! Because the kitchen is excellent! And because the map is varied, the smiling and dynamic service, on a terrace with panoramic views of Nantua Lake! We are 8 people happy with their lunch... who say "today."
