Wonderful ambiance for afternoon/evening drinks, St-Charles has a nice patio with tables as well as a seating area if you wish to relax with friends. The have a creative menu, tartars, seasonal dishes as well as a unique spin on regular bistro items. The have a selection of beer on tap and an interesting cocktail menu. We did not look at the wine menu but shelves of wine inside obviously tells the story. Our server was eager to practice her English with my gf who doesn’t speak a lick of French. The service for our entrées was prompt. It was a small wait for our main which we shared. The prices are fair considering what we expected and we were not disappointed. We will visit this bistro again...

We visited for lunch and found the experience lacking. The soup of the day was supposed to be mushroom, but it tasted mostly of thyme with no mushroom flavor at all. My friend ordered a tartare without onions, which she received, but mine also came without onions, even though I hadn’t requested that. The service was inattentive, and the atmosphere was disrupted by loud, intoxicated patrons. I won’t be returning. Parking was extremely limited as well; all the spots behind the building were taken and there were only 3-4 available in front.
The food was absolutely delightful. I loved the restaurant's atmosphere—young, fresh, and chic. I'm thrilled to have such a cool place nearby. The service was fantastic as well! I had the tartar, which was bursting with flavor, the side salad was vibrant and hearty, and the fish and chips were perfectly light, complemented by a generous tartar sauce. What a beautiful and cozy place. I just wanted to get deserts and we were amazed. A very unique style of presentation. Not the typical serving plates as you can see from the pictures. The cheesecake was amazing. It was in the very creamy with syringes of coffee syrup with mini waffles and strawberries. Very nice ambience. It was great.

I tried three weeks ago. Then again 2 weeks ago Then again last weekend Last week they did not have my favorite camari and the service was super slow. But I'll go back this week.
