Sunday lunch: small, intimate with comfortable chairs and lovely ambiance. There were three of us and we all had something different so we could have a little tasting session. There was an excellent menu, not extensive but well chosen. The wine list was also good, drawing in local wines as well as the more robust reds from other departments. Lamb from Sisteron with a hint of thyme in a sauce that was so subtle and delicious, the meat melted in your mouth [served with pot]; Asparagas risotto, pale green obviously cooked in real stock with a hint of lemon, another of broad beans, parmesan and with parmesan shavings on top - beautiful decorated too with tiny triangles of beetroot/tomatoes. My wife and I together with friends, have had the pleasure of eating at Bistro 'N Home on a number of occasions and found it to be a consistently great experience.Maryame is a warm and friendly maitre de and service was casual but attentive.The ambiance is very pleasant and importantly the meals have always been of a very high standard and demonstrate both variety and inventiveness.If you looking for an excellent meal at very reasonable price in Forcalquier then I would highly recommend Bistro 'N Home.
It is small restaurant just down from the main square and it is a jewel. The food and the service is excellent and the staff ... well, what can you say about a waitress that gives your dog a bowl of water without asking, then gives it meat left by another diner on it's own plate!This isn't a restaurant, it's an invitation to join the family for lunch!I defy you to be disappointed by this crew.
Everything is beautifully prepared by the young, enthusiastic chef. He changes the menu regularly and each dish is delicious- not so-so like many places in Forcalquier. The ingredients are fresh and even the wine served by carafe is excellent. I'm so grateful to have such a reasonably priced place to drop by and eat in. It really is extraordinary!

We had dinner here last night and sat outside under the awning which was very pleasant. There was a good mix of diners at least four nationalities of mixed ages. The meal was very good and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and prices reasonable.
Lovely fresh and tasty produce, well thought-out and very well cooked. Not a huge choice - which is a good sign - but all good. Appropriate wine list. Friendly service. We shall definitely return when we are next in Forcalquier.
We had dinner at the l´entre deux. Very warm welcome by the staff. extremely delicious dinner (roasted beef with potatos and vegetables; wild herbs salad with penne)
We had a meal at lunch which was very good (meatballs, roasted potatoes, salad) and the rosé wine was a delight! The owner is very charming, and oh! so lovely!

What a great find this restaurant is! We sat on the patio outside and had the best meal. The chicken amazing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
Warm welcome, smile with the service. Quality good with fair prices. Nice terrace for warm days. Try without hesitation .
