on a recent trip to bidart, france, we needed a place to eat after a long day trip. not too many possibilities in the opposite and many restaurants close early. not the case with this bistro and we were pleased to find it full of patrons and still food after pm. the menu is simple, but delightful. they have laughs, steaks and ducks, but what really impressed me was the salat. not because it contained dozens of ingredients, but because it was simply the best salate I ever tasted with a small olive oil and vinegar. since I was not terribly hungry, I literally sung on and salat while my partner had the laughs with fries. the service was excellent and efficient and the beer was nice and cold. we...
Carte simple mais efficace. Les produits sont frais et de qualité : les escalopes de saumon sont délicieuses, la pièce de boeuf, même très cuite (selon notre souhait), très tendre. Les desserts sont aussi à la hauteur et surtout très copieux. Quant au café gourmand et bien, il est tellement gourmand qu'il est difficile d'en venir à bout !! We were so impressed the first time we ate here that we now eat here as often as possible! The food is delicious, whether it be the salmon, duck, beef or chips! The deserts here are amazing too epecially the chocolate cake. The staff are...always friendly and polite. Such good value for money.
We found this restaurant on an overnight stop whilst travelling. Good plain food with their own signature sauce and the freshest green salad imaginable. Excellent service, good wine in a half bottle too. So good we came back on the homeward journey to a warm...welcome.

They keep it simple here, a choice of five main courses with salad and frites and they do it well. We had beef, the raw and the cooked, really excellent. Service was super friendly and fast.
