Yang and Li are the hardest working servers, period. The food is always delicious and Yang’s martinis are absolutely THE BEST! No joke! We go at least twice a week and there is a reason outstanding service and delicious food. They are short staffed so it’s tough when they are busy especially when Yang is always double hatting as the bartender. Please give them some grace and make sure you treat the staff well as they deserve it!
Food was good as always. The service is challenged it appears due to staffing issues. While our server was working incredibly hard, it was 25-30 minutes to receive our cocktails and longer for the appetizer (edamame). BW struggles during busy hours so plan on longer than normal wait times. We like the food and will continue to support this business.
The maki was good but overpriced. The entrees were not very exciting and the presentation was lacking. We’ve been to the other location and enjoyed it much more. The service was not the greatest. We had to keep asking for everything and they were out of the items in their specialty drinks which was disappointing. Portions were not the best.
The food at Bistro Wasabi is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is incredibly enjoyable! If you're in the northwest suburbs and in the mood for sushi, this is the place to go. This restaurant has been a favorite for years and never disappoints when I bring first-time visitors.
fantastic eating, amazing service and so an entertaining atmosphere! if you are looking for a place to get sushi in the NW brushes, you will not see more than bistro wasabi. it's been for years and in my experience is always an instant favor when I bring someone new here!
Bistro Wasabi is a superb!!! The food is so fresh and tasty. We celebrated my 7 year old's golden birthday and the staff certainly made the evening special for him. The appetizers, soup, salads, entrees, sushi and dessert all hit the spot.
eating is great, the service had some challenges, but they did well. love the sushi reels here and the maguro salat appetizer (tuna sashimi with chips).
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The food was good, but not exceptional considering the cost.
As always, dinner was delicious. Service and atmosphere is great.
