We were a party of 3 and last visited this place in Febuary 2017 when we visited Calais wines and had such a great meal that time and was really looking forward to another treat and we was not disappointed.For some unknown reason, their famous Pate was not on the menu for starters and so we ordered the eggs mayonaise instead. this dish was perfectly presented with the sliced boiled eggs sitting on a bed of grated raw carrot and topped with a very tasty mayonaise. Popped in for lunch having flown into nearby Calais airfield with a friend. This restaurant is no more than a 5 minute walk from the terminal and lies at the heart of the village of Marck. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the restaurant probably seats 50 or so in cosy tables clustered around a long room with a central bar. The menu we were shown contained 3-5 starters, a similar number of main courses and a nice selection of deserts. We visited on a somewhat inhospitable day. The cold wind was whipping off the Channel and the clouds were low and grey. It was therefore a huge pleasure to walk into the welcoming warmth of this delightful little restaurant.On a weekday lunchtime it was buzzing, but we were found a table, and at just the right interval were given the menu of the day, handwritten on a large decorative mirror.The choice was limited, but even so it offered enough selection to ponder on for a few minutes. De nouveau de passage dans le coin, mon épouse et moi-même étions ravi de voir que le restaurant était ouvert car nous n'avions pas réservé. Nous nous somme permis de demander une table en terrasse car il faisait bon à notre arrivé et cela n'a posé aucun problème. C'est avec gentillesse que le serveur nous a dressé rapidement notre table. Nous avons de nouveau très bien mangé : saucisse de Morteau et pomme de terre en entrée puis un foie de veau accompagné d'une purée. Excellent, comme la dernière fois où nous étions venu. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir à chaque fois que cela sera possible. C'est tout simplement bon, excellent. Un endroit où il fait bon vivre de se poser et de bien manger...

Bien qu'arrivés assez tardivement pour déjeuner, sans réservation, l'accueil était très sympathique. La décoration est agréable, les tables joliment dressées. Dès les premiers instants on s'y sent bien! La carte est simple: 3 entrées et 4 plats, dans le style brasserie, et les prix sont tout à fait raisonnables. Nous avons vraiment adoré les filets de harengs !!
Régulièrement je vais manger au bistrot de la place avec mon comptable ou des fournisseurs. Honnêtement chapeau l'équipe Accueil, service, cuisine, tout est nickelPas besoin d en Faire des caisses comme certains Restos cité Europe ou des brasseries ds calais centre Ne changez rien Adomia fermetures

Que dire.... Un endroit agréable et simple avec une belle qualité de produit.Frites maison , jambon a l os maisonEt j en passe...Très bon rapport qualité prixIl est préférable de réserver car c'est endroit très apprécié .Je m'y rends avec plaisir
