This place is so good, we actually went 3 times!!!! The menu is really good not the usual Colmar fare, but a variety of dishes to suit all tastes! They offer 3 'formules ' so you know what the cost of the food is regardless of what you choose to eat. Between us, we tried quite a few things on the menu but my favourite wasx the butcher 's choice a most wonderful steak cooked exactly to my request. There was a thunderstorm the last night we ate there and I moved seconds before the cover just above me gave way had I been sitting there I wouild have been completely soaked!! The food was really good and the restaurant is located in the main square of the city, so it has a beautiful view. I had a “poitrine de porc au miel” and it was amazing, the desserts (crème brûlée and profiteroles) were also great!

Came in by chance, had a nice table upstairs. Loved maigre du canard, rum baba (with real rum), escargot were simply ideal. Service was a 5-star one in French and English, polite, quick and warm. Wonderful
