We found this charming little Bistro only steps from the Place d'Armes. The hostess and, in fact all the staff at this restaurant are charming, friendly and accommodating. You can find this place in a quiet little street between the Post Office and the Police...Station, and although it looks a bit close and dark at times, it's a very nice area and calm in the evenings and at night. One of the great things about this restaurant is that all the meals are made fresh and the menu changes regularly. We were very impressed with the cuisine at this quaint and lovely place. Jessica is such a great person and takes the time to explain or chat with you as she makes her rounds. The dishes are beautiful...
Visited here after reading TA reviews, we were in Toulon for the day and just loved the place, this restaurant just added to a fab day out. The food was lovely, cucumber salad followed by fish and, my choice, veal followed by fresh berry soup,...gosh if that's on the set menu when you visit DO try it, totally yummy. Think we were the only tourists, the rest of the clientele were locals which says a lot. Good service and really reasonable prices would recommend.
we visited this restaurant yesterday in toulon. eating was excellent and very good. it is a small menu that the fact that it is cooked to order. each plate was very well presented and tasted delicious. the wine, available by the glass or bottle, was a good value. it is easy from the main area for restaurants that are worth on tourist but the walk.
We were on a rugby weekend and came across the restaurant by chance. It had a limited but tasty menu with some delicious choices. The proprietor was really lovely and sorted out quality wine at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the experience so much we went...back the following night in our view it was far better than eating at the waterfront.

Great bistrot with a few tables outside in the centre of Toulon with easy underground parking nearby. Short but inventive menu, good food and very welcoming, family run. Found it in Gault Millau so others also think its good!!
despite the late hour of our arrival without reservations, we were very welcome. for very reasonable prices was eating really exquisite. I can't wait to visit this place soon.
they must visit this restaurant when they visit toulon! recommend the fixed lunch menu and greg is a great help. one of the best restaurants we visited in France!
I was visting with my wife and we chanced upon this little gem near the centre of Toulon. Excellent well prepared fresh food and a great wine list.
