you can also sit outside very nicely, unfortunately this was not offered to us, although we came directly after the opening of the restaurant.The food was good to very good, as we have already eaten in many other French restaurants we missed the menus here, everything has to be put together, also the confirmation supplements ( rice, potatoes, etc.). we felt comfortable and were very well served by the seeming chief skeleton.
Fourth visit in two months and always the same pleasure!Also friendly welcome of servers and bosses; a small cut to start then perfect and tasteful ray wing, quality rumsteck with magical fries, a red fruit cut all accompanied by a tasty brouilly for 74€ to two. Charming and helpful hosts with a blackboard menu reflecting the seasonal and fresh nature of the dishes. My veal kidneys were cooked perfectly but the sauce a little to piquante for my palette, as sometimes happens you make the wrong choice but that doesn't distract...from the quality of the food. The Chef Patron here retired from a busy kitchen some years ago and became bored with life so opened a small bistro where good food is served without the drama of some more expensive establishments. Friendly staff who helped us with our poor French through...the menu ensuring that we ended up with what we were expecting.
best meal we had during our last trip to France. it was divine. nice ambiente and the young waiter who served us was enthusiastic, very patient and charming with his non-french customers. good choices on this quality menu. would highly recommend if you eat for somewhere when visiting compiegne.
