Had the Fork off food bill deal dinner here couple of days ago.It was a full house night but service was keeping good.Ordered Buffalo wings to share between two of us. Then a lamb rack and squids with pasta for mains.It did not take long time to have the entree ready on the table. Wings looked great to accompanied with blue cheese dip. However, it was extremely salty when I licked on the first wing. I then confirmed it with a second one without the dip. Sorry! Chef! It was VERY VERY SALTY! My lips were tingling with bitter taste. We gave up and informed the waitress to take it away and they could then serve us the mains. I witnessed the chef did not bother to taste the wings when it was back...
Drinks and starters for pre-lunch inspiration, disappointed. Mixed olives? I can only assume the "mixed" refers to the all black olives where some were pitted and some were not, instead of black, green and stuffed olives with a little sun-dried tomatoes to add some sweetness. While I appreciate literal interpretation, the pumpkin, red onion and rocket took this too the extreme. A slice of pumpkin and an anorexic slice of onion hiding amongst yesterdays prepared rocket leaves left me decidedly underwhelmed. Lunch will be elsewhere. Beers were cold, service quick and pleasant.
I've been here a couple of times now, once for coffee for a catch up with a friend and the coffee is very nice. I enjoy the different beers they have for a afternoon to hang out but the other day I had lunch by myself and that was very average. I had the beetroot eggs with the cured salmon and the were bit tasteless and the eggs were definitely overcooked or few days old. The crumbed tomatoes were ok but bit average.
All over nice spot, nice beers but food could be bit better..
Very friendly and helpful staff in a great New Farm vibe, but food not very good. The burger meat was good but overall burger not tasty and prawn tacos and green curry also not good at all. The beer options were good, the wine was not. Nice vibe and people, but food really didn’t hit the mark so we won’t be back.

Cool venue with a great selection of beers. I tried a fruity/cherry one and it was delicious. I'm not usually a beer person but this one was quite enjoyable. Their confit duck pancakes are a must order. Generous servings of duck served with pancakes and hoisin sauce & cucumbers.
Very friendly staff, pleasant breakfast and good coffee! I ordered the 'B.E.T' which was bacon, eggs and tomato. Mostly great but the bacon was a bit average - will definitely be back just not for the bacon!
eating was of good quality, the staff was friendly, but the service was a little slow considering that the restaurant was not full. I would go back, convenient for our show in powerhouse.
Really love this New Farm cafe. Fantastic breakfasts, coffees and friendly staff. The spicy mushroom dish is delicious and so to the avocado and haloumi.

The staff were very nice and very friendly the food was delicious and the ambiance was just right. I’d definitely recommend Bitter Suite
