Been a loyal customer to this bjs for a few years, even after they built a bjs near my house here in goodyear I've always chose to come to the one here in Peoria but tonight my heart was crushed by this establishment first of my family and I walk in and the host Alana doesn't even greet us instead she looks frustrated that a big party of other Latino patrons arrived before us and are waiting to be seated so I stand there waiting for acknowledgement and she never says anything until I ask for a table never even stares my way and replies with a nasty attitude to wait for my server finally she walks the other Latino family to there table and comes back to us and says you guys aren't with them I...
This has been a long time favorite restaurant of mine and now my 7-year-old son's. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it. I felt the need to leave a two-star review because whenever I come here as a delivery driver I'm kindly ask for assistance after waiting a long time with no one at the pickup station, The shift managers give me a hard time. It's a shame, too, because his place is very near and dear to me. I ask nicely if I can be helped, and oddly I always receive an odd look or snarky come back type of comment from the shift manager. It's rather uncomfortable and I wish they realize I was being sensible and patient, rather than being treated like I was being rude and impat...
Love the beer and Root Beer here. Their Hopstorm IPA ia really good. Wife had the usual Broccoli and Cheese Soup in bread bowl, she loves this. I had the Baby Back Ribs, which were really good, though the onion rings on top were cold. Mashed Potatoes were very thick pasty texture, Broccoli was good. The Pretzel with Beer Chese is awesome. Consistent food. Recommend.
I normally don't post with a bad experience rather I just don't return. This case is different. We ordered to enlightened Asian chopped salads, as we do quite frequently. Lately, the salads are always different. Today, no tangerines. The salads are really good when prepared correctly. However, the inconsistency will stop me from ordering in the future. Nice cozy restaurant. Friendly waitress, however food service does not live up to the expectation. 2nd bite after appetizer was served they brought the Main course out (and its not even hot, its lukewarm). Look like they have 1 staff to bring food to all tables. She said “Food here come out fairly quick”.
It was clean, organized, food was good... The waitress was very nice to talk to. We had an issue with the drinks but she handled it right away. Very responsible, communicated very well. Good place to go to
The prime rib was subpar for the $35 cost. Our server, Courtney, was awesome and really went out of her way to make our time there well spent. Thanks, Courtney!
