8.7.2022 Today was another great meal, man I'm full from such a great breakfast. I had the breakfast special prime rib scramble, and my family was jealous cause it was that good, and they didn't order it. One great hostess cause she's tht only onewhomever has spelled my name right without having to correct. ???? Another damn good waitress. ???? Thank you for another greatexperience eating here. We had a total of 6 people in our group. 3 had the meatloaf, burger, chickenfried steak, and I had the French Dip. Everything was amazing, we were all full, all meals were cooked really good, and we allhad leftovers. Their meals are huge, I think we all maybe half of our meals. Service was truly spot...
We went to the Black Bear Diner today and got a free breakfast for my wife's birthday, which I ate, and my wife had a patty melt with french fries. Both were equally delicious. They were a little busy and we would have had about a 10 minute wait, so we sat at the counter and the service was outstanding. And like the small world that it is that we live in, it turns out that our waitress,Terry, who was wonderful, graduated from the same high school (Folsom High) that I did in 1976, only I graduated one year later. We highly recommend that you give this wonderful restaurant a visit! And say hello to Terry!
Great food, great service. Katie, our server, was very attentive and had everything we wanted in a timely manner. This was on Father's day, so, it was very busy. There was sign asking for our patience as the establishment was, well, short staffed, this did not affect our experience, as a matter of fact I think the sign was not necessary. Anyway, we had a great Father's day meal with no issues at the diner. Thank you. Alan

Stopped in for an early breakfast and we were not disappointed. We have eaten at several Black Bear Diners and they have all been consistantly good. I had the waffle, egg and bacon breakfast, hubby had French Toast and friut. Generous sized servings,delicious thick cut bacon. Sorry, I didn't think of a picture until I was nearly finished with my eggs!
The first picture is of the Meat Lovers Omelet, and the second one shows the breakfast sliders. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, so we even had leftovers to take home. The service was outstanding as well!
My wife loves the Vegetarian Omelette, though its quality can depend on whether the chef knows how to season it well. On the other hand, the BIGFOOT Chicken Fried Steak is always outstanding!

This was the ideal dinner for Father's Day. Everything was wonderful. I didn't have to worry about cooking or cleaning up. Our waitress was incredibly attentive.
The food was really good. They have large servings, I couldn't eat it all. The service could be a little better but overall everything was good.
