Following their recent profit making success with their 100oz steak challenge, this place obviously lacks any morals and values beyond their own success. Adding to obesity and greed pandemic/ adding to global warming/ adding to cancer pandemic (red meat is a carcinogenic) etc etc you get the point. Where I spend my money is an extension of my voice and values, this place has not only lost me, but many customers due to being blindsided by greed.
I had a wonderful bar lunch today with excellent service from Kelise. We decided to try the small plates menu, which was great value. You could choose 2 courses for £13 or 3 courses for just £16. The portion sizes were not large but they were definitely enough. My cottage pie was delicious! The pub is in a beautiful setting and my partner was happy with the selection of real ales. I can't wait to go back again!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Our server, Carol, was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the cottage pie and fish and chips from the smaller portions menu and both dishes were delicious. The creamy garlic mushrooms and chicken starters were also excellent.
They have vegan options on the menu, including pub grub-style meals like hotpot and burger with fries. They have a vegan meatball starter and vegan cheesecake for dessert. It is a bit limited but ok for a pub meal if you’re dining with non-vegans.
Im a non Alcoholic person, im just walking thereby, become thirsty and want to buy a bottle of water. But the young and nice lady who is in the bar give me free bottle of water. I appreciat it.thank you Service: 5
