We chose this restaurant based on a local recommendation. While the exterior is not particularly inviting, the interior is much more pleasant. I found the menu to be somewhat limited compared to similar establishments I've visited. I ordered a platter and a salad to go, and they were ready in about 5–10 minutes, which is convenient, but it made me wonder if the food was pre-made, more like fast food than freshly prepared sit-down dining. While the meal was satisfactory, I regret to say it didn’t stand out beyond typical fast-food fare. The white yogurt sauce was quite thin and lacked flavor. We started going here about a year ago and have visited about every 2 weeks or so. Very good food, with decent portions at a fair price. Not cheap, but also not cheap food. Seems high quality. The owner is friendly-ish. Seems all about business when you go in and order, but he is super friendly when you spend any time there. Don't let the first impression fool you. Usually not super busy and the speed of the service and food getting out seems consistent with the freshness of the food. Fresh food just takes a little time to prepare. Highly recommend. I went to Black Sea Restaurant with friends for a birthday dinner, it was short notice but the staff was accommodating. the food was of quality and the restaurant atmosphere was quite quiet and relaxing. even an employer come with a birthday treat and took our group photo. 5/5 great service great Food. This is a fantastic local restaurant! It had been a few years since my last visit, but I definitely plan to return soon. It's a refreshing alternative to your typical dining experience. The food has always been excellent. You place your order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. I also noticed that they seem to have updated the restaurant's interior and booths since my last visit. I ordered the combo platter and it was so generous that I couldn’t finish it!
