This was truly the best burger I've ever had. I ordered the Don't Go Bacon My Heart, and it was amazing. The fries were also among the best I've ever tasted; we tried both the smoked and sweet potato varieties. We sampled most of the sauces as well, and they were delicious. The garlic sauce, in particular, was to die for. If it were available by the bottle, I’d definitely consider buying some for my mom's stocking, haha. Anyone who loves garlic (or even just likes it) should definitely give that sauce a shot. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our server was great.
This is hands down the best burger I've had in a long time! I ordered the Foodie, and wow, the combination of flavors was incredible! The patties were fantastic, and when paired with candied bacon, truffle mayo, boursin cheese, and caramelized onions, it all came together to create one outstanding burger! Even the gluten-free bun was impressive, which is quite rare! I also loved the apple and hickory smoked fries—they were delicious! All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely be coming back. I have to try a milkshake next time!
This is a must stop local spot. We were super impressed with the quality and the presentation. Definitely one of the best burgers we have had the pleasure to eat. Was staying next door for a weekend convention and loved our first experience so much we had to go back. Service was so friendly and helpful and the burger and fries were delicious! I highly recommend the Foodie burger with the candied bacon added (my server said it was his favorite) and oh my goodness was ge right! The fries were huge and came with a variety of sauce options. Black Sheep is one of the top places in Springfield for a delicious burger. They offer a fantastic selection, and it's the little details that really distinguish them, such as the sauce sampler you can get for dipping your fries. My personal favorite was the truffle mayo, which went wonderfully with the smoked fries. The downtown location has a nice atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a burger and a beer with friends.
In Springfield for a HS Wrestling tournament, we decided to take lunch at Black Sheep Burgers. The food was excellent and so fresh. The restaurant was very clean and trendy. The service was fantastic. We will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu! The burgers are even better than my pictures look! I love the unique topping and alternative condiments for dipping the fries. The garlic mayo is *chef's kiss*!!!!
Situated in the heart of downtown, this restaurant boasts a wonderful atmosphere and an impressive variety of burgers. In my view, the burgers are perfectly sized—not too big, but just right—and they are packed with flavor. The fries were decent, but nothing exceptional. I tried the non-alcoholic Elvis milkshake, made with vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, and bananas, and it was fantastic! I highly recommend it.
Excellent choice for lunch. GREAT burgers and the fries (many different options BTW were off the chart! Definitely recommend trying the different sauces. Black Sheep offers a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. The burgers we tried were outstanding. We also shared a basket of truffle and parmesan fries, which were impressive in size and made with excellent ingredients. Definitely don't miss out on their shakes—they're amazing!
