My girlfriend shouted me dinner at Black Bird in East Perth last night. Apparently this was in return for all of the meals I've cooked her. She didn't have to, I'd have been happy with a cheese toasty at hers. But I'm really glad she did. It was a fabulous dining experience. First up, this is a small venue and it is lovely, warm and cosy. Perfect on a freezing winters evening. Secondly, the service was fantastic. Thirdly, the food was amazing. We came here for date night and birthday celebration and we were thoroughly thrilled how amazing the service and food was. We ordered the chefs selection (6 course) meal and they create dishes around your food allergies/ foods you don't eat. It was very good price for the quality and portions of the food we were served (3 entrees, 2 mains, 1 dessert). Definitely recommend to couples who are looking for somewhere romantic for dinner. Amazing food, beautiful service!

Beautiful and intimate location, perfect for a couple or a double date. One of the best places in the area. If you want to enjoy a glass of wine and some good food in a relaxing environment this is the right place.
