I used to visit bleak house all the time as a child and was very excited to realise they now do accommodation. Truly an amazing venue not just a hotel/B&B but very much an experience. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Staff are lovely and really fit in with the house. Big mention to Jeff our personal night porter who's there for anything you need, and any questions you may have about the house. Also best cooked breakfast! it was also lovely to see the chef and listen to a few of his stories about the house. We will defiantly be returning x
As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and led into a charming room filled with ambient music. We began our experience with some bubbly, accompanied by a delightful assortment of mixed sandwiches and petit fours. Next, we enjoyed a lovely pot of tea and scones topped with fresh strawberries. The house and its surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and Lee made our visit truly special. We highly recommend the afternoon experience. Top marks for Lee!
Lovely place!great location and friendly staff.Stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment with the children,lovely sea views from all the rooms.Delicious breakfast,clean rooms and beautiful garden -ideal for an afternoon tea. Cute museum,nicely put together by the owner . I look forward to coming back for a longer stay. We truly enjoyed everything! Thank you for your hospitality .
An enchanting experience the staff were all lovely and very helpful made it feel like a home away from home and not a hotel the history is preserved in all the details a true one of a kind getaway The breakfast selection was very good and as a vegetarian I appreciated the veggie full English breakfast I can't wait to return !

This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the area. I couldn't fault anything and truly felt privileged to be at the Bleak House! Lee and Jeff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond for us. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, especially the poached eggs! I highly recommend this place!
My partner and I had a wonderful time staying in the fagin suite Loved everything about Bleak house ,our room ,the views,the garden ,log fires ,the history ...I could go on Geoff and Lee were friendly and helpful, thankyou I would love to stay again
we had an excellent stay in the bleak house about christmas, we were in the copperfield room, which has a balcony overlooking the viking bay. the porter made it a particularly pleasant stay. would not hesitate to recommend bleak house!
I celebrated my birthday yesterday, and Lee surprised me with a slice of carrot cake topped with a candle. He was full of jokes and helped create a wonderful atmosphere, all while serving delicious tea!

large stay very welcome room was absolutely sweet, in which bar was greeted with a large open fire, breakfast was from an exerlent standard, would recommend everyone to stay in the bleak house
